When people outside of my field ask me what I do, I really want to give them a great “key message” or two to convey, in full, exactly what I do as a PR professional. In fact, visit any networking group, and they’ll tell you that’s exactly what you need to successfully market your business.

But once, someone asked me to compare my professional self to an animal, and I chose a chameleon. Honestly, I think it’s the best way to describe the constant shifting and changing required to succeed in public relations.

At any point in time, my “colors” change as I shift gears and perspectives day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute.

Yes. It’s a colorful world I live in, and the variety, challenge and enjoyment of this constantly changing landscape provide me with great fulfillment and enthusiasm, even after 20 years in the field.
