Throughout her career, Julie Heidelberg has helped organizations strengthen both their internal and external relationships with key audiences.
The Salvation Army
Julie organized annual canned food drives in Hillsborough County public schools and local businesses to create thousands of holiday food baskets. She also coordinated record-breaking Red Kettle holiday
drives involving more kettle sites and volunteers than ever before.
Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation
Julie connected with over a hundred companies to secure gala and golf tournament sponsorships, recruit volunteers and collect donations.
PR lead for traffic safety and insurance at AAA Auto Club South Julie collaborated with organizations like the American Red Cross, the Tampa Bay Convention & Visitors Bureau, Florida S.A.F.E. (Stay Alive from Education), FACT (Florida Anti-Car Theft Committee) and the National Safety Administration to further the mission and goals of AAA.
Launch of Heidelberg PR
In 2001, Julie launched Heidelberg PR, a boutique public relations firm, and has worked primarily with real estate developers, universities, retailers and hospitals in the Tampa Bay and Florida markets.
University of South Florida
From 1999-2003, Julie taught undergraduate public relations courses in the School of Mass Communications at the University of South Florida, where she obtained her master’s degree in public relations.
